Went there for dinner today. Very, very tasty. Very nice boss who also served us. We were very satisfied. The renovation work in progress didn't bother us either.

The landlord was alone and had several tables to serve. The hospitality lasted correspondingly long. Some things have been forgotten. The quality of the food was cheap, and the salad was fresh. The location is actually well suited to act as a restaurant attraction, as there is a hotel and a major hospital in the immediate vicinity. Appropriate devices and / or planting for noise protection should be in place for the busy road location. There is still room for improvement here.

The kebabs were ok. You can choose between bun and french fries (although the menu says only french fries) Because of the drink stars less. Ordered Sprite and Cola, got a replacement cheaper poured into small 2dcl cups, it was already lightly flaked. Staff friendly

The food was ok, but overpriced for the crowd. On the terrace (I was there in summer) there were leftovers everywhere. The staff (if you found it) was rude, spoke little German and didn't really know what to do there. For me never again ...

On the terrace you can sit very well and drink something if one of the car traffic and the exhaust fumes at the roundabout do not disturb. The interior of the restaurant is more reminiscent of a waiting room at a train station from the 1950s. We did not dare to order us something to eat, it looked too messy. Since then we were not there anymore.

First reception makes the smoke smell and the rotten plants on the windowsill. Service does what he should but without much friendliness. The restaurant could do with a thorough cleaning and renovation. As for the food, I can not complain, salad was fresh and crisp, turkey escalope was excellent seasoned and fries were crispy but not burned. From the food I was surprised that it tasted so good and everything was fresh.

The 2 stars are for the history of the building. Unfortunately it is very run down and cold. Much is needed to bring this former jewel to life. Would be a pity

There is a star, although I would rather not give one at all. The first thing to do was to smell the smoke when we came in. it was so penetrating that we almost upset even as smokers! But because we were hungry, we ordered food anyway. Then the meal was served. The food was not at all tasty, very bland and the chicken meat was unseasoned. Even french fries didn't taste good. We have never eaten so bad with my husband! Of course we got up after the first bite, paid and left. I really couldn't believe it .. how can you serve such bad food ???? That is a cheek.

Good burek bass !!! And the place is so good is in luxury :) Luxury is always expensive. So if you are eating burek DOBAR BUREK this is the right place.

Good food, large portions, friendly service + chef, great value for money ... I went because of the duchwachsenen reviews only with mixed feelings in the Hölzlekönig, but was glad to be there. Everything was fine for me. The food was good, the portion huge and varied (see photo), the service friendly and attentive. The salad was fresh and tasty. There is a well-lit room separate from the bar (and therefore probably smoke-free) in which to eat. But I liked to sit in the darker part of the building. I was asked if the light was enough - and I found it comfortable, just as it was. There was a higher ambience in the area but I was looking for something good 'bourgeois' (in the meat dishes are under 20 € and the coke is not in the 0.2 bottle for 2.40 €) and I have found in the Hölzlekönig to the fullest satisfaction. As for the criticism of the manageable menu ... the card depends on the entrance - to whom the offered is too little, which in my opinion simply can not go in. If I'm in the area again I'll go there again.
